Claim CME


The Continuing Medical Education for the Cleveland Ophthalmological Society is accredited by Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Each meeting qualifies independently for the number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s) that can be claimed for participation. Please review the syllabus pages provided at each meeting for the approved number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s).

What is the Process?

  1. At the beginning and end of each meeting, a link to the required, electronic meeting evaluation form will be posted in the chat section of the webinar. After the meeting has ended, a link to form will also be emailed to all members that attended the meeting. (Zoom provides a report of all members that logged into the meeting). For live/in person meetings, a link to the meeting evaluation form will be emailed to members upon signing in at the registration desk and/or paper evaluation forms will be available at the registration desk.
  2. Within 48 hours of completing and submitting the electronic meeting evaluation form, you will receive an email containing the code required to claim your credit via the CWRU CME online portal. (the code will be sent to the email you enter on the evaluation form).
  3. After receiving the email containing the code, you must log in to the CWRU CME portal (using the email address you created the account with/or that you create a new account with), then enter the code and claim your credits online.

To claim credit for a meeting that is more than 6 months past, please contact the CME office directly via email or phone. Contact information can be found on the CWRU CME portal website.
